So I've been kinda in a rut.  Work is completely boring (busy, but just totally unchallenging), my mom is going through radiation treatment due to her cancer (she had surgery in in the spring and this is to ensure the cancerous cells are killed) and all of this has just forced my insomnia to another level...  It was my birthday this past week so I decided to buy myself something extra nice.  I did (despite my bff telling me I'm crazy) and it made me feel better.  For about a day.  I felt like I needed a bigger change that might snap me out of this rut.  Then I thought maybe I should get a new car.  I've known a few people close to me do this.  So off I went today to go look at cars...  I test drove the Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, Mercedes ML and BMW X5.  I was torn for most of the day until I narrowed it down to the ML or X5.  My hubby has owned two BMW's so of course he was totally biased to the X5.  I called my brother to ask his advice and of course since he just bought his first BMW, he voted for the X5.  So I decided to call my dad.  Since he's had his share of cars throughout his life, I thought he could give me his insight/opinion on which he thought was a better manufacturer in general...  But of course he said...  get what you like more and wasn't helpful! *sigh*
