The decision has been made, the papers have been signed and the waiting will hopefully be over soon!  I decided to go for the ajuma car - aka the ML.  The process was an ordeal due to my specific option requirements...  I went in to buy one of the leftover new 2009 models, but ended up buying a 2010.  Apparently none of the 2010 ML's have been shipped to Massachusetts yet so we had to scour the U.S. dealers that did receive them already to find my car...  They thought they found it and then told me they didn't, then finally confirmed they found one in NJ...  So now the waiting begins for them to bring it here so my new baby can come home with me~  I will miss my FX terribly though!  I've had so many good memories in that car...  I guess time for someone else to enjoy it now...
