We attended the annual MSPCA walk for animals for the 4th year today...  It was the usual doggy gathering I had seen before.  The morning was cool so I decided to bring Garu along despite his HGE the other month...  However, the walk from the parking garage to the Boston Commons already was too much.  The day turned out to be perfect in terms of weather, but the appearance of the sun was not good for Garu.  He ended up puking before the walk even started so hubby stayed behind and waited while Pucca and I went on the walk.  We stopped by the Hill's Science Diet booth and they took one look at Pucca and told me she was overweight!  Then they proceeded to put a 20 lb vest on me to "demonstrate" how even 2-3 extra lbs on a dog feels on them...  Point taken!  Pucca did survive the 1 mile walk, but was panting and would plop down on the ground for a break...  I think I should start taking her on a daily walk above and beyond her potty runs...
