So I guess Freddie has officially moved past the shock and denial and is now in the excited stage of having a baby.  He was nervous/antsy about telling people, but at the same time wanted to tell everyone!  I sent out the news this morning to our friends...  He's already talking about which sports the baby will play if he's a boy or if she's a girl...  And how if it's a girl, that she's going to walk all over him...  I guess I can see that.  I on the other hand have not reached the excited stage yet.  I know that sounds horrible, but until I feel completely better again I don't think I will reach that next stage.  Hopefully I'll get there soon so I can actively contribute to Freddie's excited ramblings...  When I told him I heard the baby's heartbeat Thursday he was genuinely upset that he wasn't there!  He was like "why didn't you tell me you had an appointment!?" =/  I was a little taken back since his reaction was totally unexpected.  It had been a last minute appointment I made to switch around another one cuz of a meeting I had to go to at work...  Hopefully at the next u/s he will be satisfied and will hear the heartbeat...  He is surprising me by the day...
