Thanksgiving

So Thanksgiving came and went uneventfully.  I had lunch at my MIL's house and then headed over to a friend's house afterward for dinner.  I didn't get to eat as much as I thought I would be able to, but my MIL packed us so much food that I eventually got to taste everything over the weekend...  I was just thankful I didn't puke at my MIL's cuz I had been up the night before praying to the porcelain goddess.

I've been having serious insomnia the past week...  I think it's partly due to pregnancy, but also due to stress at work.  There are so many things going on and I think being pregnant and not being 100% there is taking its toll.  Colleagues/employees are not pulling their weight and just whining that they're SO busy, etc.  Everyone is busy, not just them.  It's the sorriest excuse in the book and I hate hearing it.  And it makes it worse when it's someone in management whining that their dept is more important and more busy than another dept as if the dept next to them is sitting around all day staring at the wall...  What do they expect?  Someone to say, oh yes, your dept is more important and busy?  It's usually those who say that who are the most inefficient and less productive in the organization...  During the time they're whining, they could have gotten another task crossed off their list.  I have no tolerance for whiners.

So I guess my insomnia is here to stay since these aren't issues that will go away overnight.  I guess I just needed to vent a bit...
