Miracles do happen~
So it's been a pretty miserable week. I started feeling under the weather on Monday and by Wednesday night I had a full on cold complete with the watering eyes, running nose, congestion, popping ears... I didn't make it through work on Thursday, but managed to drag myself out of bed Friday to do a full day... I probably should have stayed home because I woke up today feeling worse. However, I felt like laying in bed wasn't going to make me any better and I needed some air... Hubs agreed and we went to babies r us to buy some items for the baby... I was soon hungry and wanted a bento box so we went to satisfy my craving...
So while at lunch hubs started going on about how I should wear easy to slip on shoes since my back was hurting so much and bending over was getting more and more difficult. I told him my flat boots were just fine, but he kept going on and on... Then he offered to drive me to the mall and says that I need to get new shoes. I was shocked. He usually nags about how I need to throw away my shoes! We went into Nordstrom to look around he proceeds to the shoe section and starts looking. Mind you, usually he heads straight for the first empty seat/couch at the store...! He walks around and then points to a row of shoes and says "what about those? they look easy to put on and comfy..." I look over and he's pointing to Tory Burch ballerina flats. I laughed because I couldn't believe he chose those and of course he doesn't know who the hell Tory Burch is so the shoes really must look comfy in his eyes! I've never really been a fan of them since I never wear flats, but since getting pregnant, they are my only option these days. I tried a few colors on and then he asks if they are comfy... I say yes and then he goes up to the register and buys them for me without saying another word... Seriously this will be one and only time this will happen - a true miracle... He must really see how much my back has been hurting and how I've been struggling to put on my shoes! I was really touched...
