So this little monster is showing no signs of wanting to come out!  I have had no consistent contractions or any other indication that he's ready to meet us.  I went to my OB appt today and we discussed scheduling an induction.  Apparently he is really low and engaged, but just doesn't want to come out.  I'm 2cm dilated and 70% effaced as of today.  Based on the weight of the baby at Friday's ultrasound, he's growing day by day and could potentially go over 8 lbs if he doesn't make an appearance soon.  My OB said it would be hard on me to have an 8 lbs+ baby since I'm not a big girl.  I've been eating non-stop lately so I know he's gained more weight since Friday...  And I certainly do not want a c-section unless it's absolutely necessary.  It would suck to go through labor and then also have an emergency c-section! 

For some reason I imagined that he'd come out on his own by his due date...  The contractions would begin and I'd go through the normal FTM length of labor and that was that.  But I guess this is my first lesson that with babies or children, nothing can be planned or controlled.  I am praying right now that I go into labor on my own tonight so I don't have to end up getting induced!!!  I am feeling tons of pressure and some cramping after my exam today so hopefully that is a sign that something might happen tonight~
