Fall Boots!

So I've realized that all my posts in the past few months only relate to Keoni!  My blogs through my pregnancy and then through labor and delivery and now through motherhood...  I guess that's what happens when you have a child!  Anyway, so yesterday Keoni started getting cranky early in the morning and I was like oh no...  I decided to put him in his car seat and get in the car - he seems to enjoy car rides and usually falls asleep.  It was only 10am so the only place I could think of driving to was the mall.  I've been trying to avoid the mall because I just end up spending money and lots of it!   So I went to the Natick Collection.  The place was already filling up - with all mommies of course!   I went into Nordstrom and saw an entire table full of fall boots!  They were just calling my name and I walked over to look at some of them.  All of a sudden an employee pops up out of nowhere and says "you know you have to try those on!"  He sent a sales lady over and so it began...  An innocent look at a pair of boots led to trying on I don't know how many.  However, right when I was about to try the first pair on, the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate!  I debated whether I should go back to the shoe section after we were allowed to go back in...  I did go back - surprise, surprise.  The sales lady was super helpful and began bringing out all these other shoes in my size just to see if I "might" like them too.  Oh god - it all went downhill from there...  She actually did bring out some styles that were right down my alley!  The one pair of boots I absolutely loved was out of stock though...   She found them online and ordered them for me to be shipped to my house... The bonus is that they are having their anniversary sale right now so all their new fall items are 33% off for three weeks before they go to their original price for the fall so I saved $100 on those one pair alone!  I did notice that I had to buy a half size larger.  I have yet to try on any of my pre-pregnancy shoes yet.  I'm wearing sandals/slip-ons everyday so I dread trying on all of my pumps before going back to work.  I don't think my body is totally done with the swelling because I still can't wear my wedding ring or my engagement ring!  Nevermind the fact that I have another 10 pounds to lose!  I had been so excited when the first 20 lbs came off so quickly!  I guess this last chunk is going to have to be worked off...  BOO!   I don't even shop for clothes for fear of discovering what my dress size is right now...
