23 Weeks

So this past week has been full of "almosts...!"  Keoni is almost rolling over now, almost sitting up for an extended period of time and almost on his way to saying dada!  Well, we think he did, but we're thinking it was an accident.  With help, he can roll over.  Also, I've been helping him practice sitting up on his own.  He lasts for a few seconds before tipping to the side.  As the days go by, he can sit longer and longer.  Who would have thought these little things would get us so excited!  He is also definitely starting to teeth.  The drool, the constant fist in his mouth, along with everything else he can get his hands on...

On Saturday we had a relaxing day in.  We literally did nothing, but dote on Keoni and stayed home.  It was a much needed "chill" day and I fell asleep super early!  Then on Sunday I had almost the entire day to myself.  I went out to lunch with Michelle and then we for a 90 minutes massage.  She was super hard on my back trying to get out the knots, but it felt good afterward...  A couple of friends came by afterward and we chilled while watching a few football games.

Work has been so busy so I went in on Monday.  The list of to dos never seem to end and we are so behind with everything.  I am still in the midst of hiring new staff so hopefully that'll be out of the way soon.  The only thing that keeps me going is seeing Keoni and his smile.  I worked late a few nights and came home to find him already in bed.  I was so bummed.  I hate it when I miss him at night.  I only get about 5-10 minutes with him in the morning so I feel deprived of him during the workdays...  I savor the weekends with him and hubby and love every minute of it even if he's crying!
