32 Weeks
So the eczema is still not going away. I am so frustrated that I cannot just fix it for him. I finally made an appointment with the dermatologist. They are booked up to two months out so it's going to be a while until I can take him in. I'm hoping there is a cancellation so we can get in earlier.
This past weekend was Christmas. We went over to Rachel's godmothers house for Christmas Eve and stuffed our faces with hot pot and bulgogi. Keoni was good throughout the night and it was nice to get out in the evening. Then on Christmas we went over to Nancy's house and spent the entire time there. Keoni was good most of the day. Christina was all over him so I was able to take a little nap and relax. She is great with kids - I never knew. I don't know where she gets all the energy to play with them all day! Sometimes just watching them play makes me tired!
We had our first real snow storm of the season beginning Sunday and into Monday. I stayed home throughout most of the storm and got to have some good QT with my boy. We played, he ate, slept, pooped, etc. It's amazing how quickly the days go by when I'm with him. I just want to hold him and kiss him non-stop. He's definitely beginning to recognize us now. He's not just responding to seeing another human being, but actually knows who we are.
One milestone reached this week was that Keoni got his front two bottom teeth! It was pretty exciting - I never knew things like this would get me excited! I think they came in on Christmas. We were feeding him the next day and he was crying and then Fred noticed them! It explains all the drooling of late. It's been worse than usual... I'm hoping that throughout the next month I can introduce him to additional foods. I want to slowly incorporate the foods we eat and not just have him on baby foods. I hope that he isn't a picky eater!!!
